Summer Rock Concert ‘07
On Saturday, July 21st 2007 Rock’n Music Academy held its 3rd annual summer rock concert. Keeping in tradition, the concert featured performances by both student and instructor bands.
The student bands that rocked Union Square included Peaceful Spartans, Routine Six, Ethel Weather, and Overflow. The bands performed inspired sets of both classic and contemporary rock and left the fans wanting more!
Following the student bands, a full lineup of local original professional bands took the stage and delivered fiery performances. Yo Jesse kicked off the second half of the show with a solid set of songs that will be featured on their upcoming full-length album. Hsu-Nami took the stage next and introduced fans to their unique brand of rock which features a Chinese fiddle and a boat load of intensity. Eric Lopez followed with a solid set of acoustic covers and Evolutionow closed the show with a passionate unplugged performance.
