HOWARD LEE EDWARDS JR.- guitar & bass
Howard Lee Edwards founded Rock’n Music Academy in May of 2005. He has been teaching guitar for over a decade and is the author of the Rock’n Music Academy guitar method books. He is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, where he earned degrees in business and music.
Howard Lee is an official member of the National Recording Academy, the nation’s premiere association for recognizing achievements int he arts, and regularly attends the GRAMMY awards. He is an accomplished songwriter, having written hundreds of songs at the professional level and recorded multiple albums of original material. He is also an in demand session musician and regularly does session work as both a guitarist and songwriter.
In 2007 Howard Lee founded Rock’n Music Idol, New Jersey’s premiere music talent search, and acts as the head judge for the competition. Rock’n Music Idol attracts hundreds of contestants each year and winners of the competition have been featured on Q104.3, ABC, and FOX 5.
Howard Lee passes his knowledge and experiences in music along to his students and encourages them to be the best musicians they can be.
